Blurring before you share
General
Blur uninvolved faces, plates, addresses and children before showing evidence to anyone.
Your recording may include people who have nothing to do with the incident. Blur them before you share anything.
Worth blurring
- Faces of people who are not involved.
- Vehicle registration plates.
- House numbers and addresses.
- Children.
Blur a copy and keep the original untouched. If the police or a council ask for evidence, they will normally want the unedited file, so never blur your only copy.
You report this yourself.
Evidentor helps you gather and organise evidence. It does not
send reports to the police, councils, platforms, schools or
employers on your behalf.
