Council diary sheets
Noise Pollution
United Kingdom
Most UK councils start by sending you a diary sheet to complete over about two weeks.
When you first report noise, many councils respond by sending a diary sheet rather than visiting straight away.
What to expect
- You record each occurrence over roughly two weeks.
- You return the sheet, and the council decides whether to investigate further.
- Keeping your own log first makes filling this in much easier.
Diary sheets are not a delay tactic. They are how a council establishes whether the noise is frequent and severe enough to act on.
You report this yourself.
Evidentor helps you gather and organise evidence. It does not
send reports to the police, councils, platforms, schools or
employers on your behalf.
